Princess Victoria Charlotte of Anhalt-Zeitz-Hoym
Victoria Charlotte of Anhalt- Bernburg - Schaumburg- Hoym ( born September 25, 1715 in Schaumburg, † February 4, 1772 in Schaumburg ) was a princess of Anhalt- Bernburg - Schaumburg- Hoym and by marriage Margravine of Brandenburg- Bayreuth.
Life
Victoria Charlotte was a daughter of Prince Victor I of Anhalt -Bernburg - Schaumburg- Hoym (1693-1772) from his first marriage with Charlotte Luise (1680-1739), daughter of Count Wilhelm Moritz Isenburg and Büdingen in Birstein.
She married on 26 April 1732 in Schaumburg later to become the Margrave Friedrich Christian of Brandenburg- Bayreuth ( 1708-1769 ). After the marriage the couple moved, at the direction of Friedrich Christian's brother Georg Friedrich Karl 's New Castle Dietersheim as a residence. The marriage was divorced in 1764, one year after Friedrich Christian was followed in the government of Brandenburg- Bayreuth. However, the couple had been living separately since 1739 because of the jealousy of the later to become Margrave. Your final years spent in poverty in Victoria Charlotte Halle ( Saale). She was buried in the " Melander Crypt" in Holzappel.
