Prinz (crater)

Prince is an impact crater on the moon northwestern front. It is located northeast of the prominent crater Aristarchus rays in the plane of Oceanus Procellarum.

The rim is largely flooded. Only the northeastern part is obtained. To the north is the system of grooves Rimae Prince. To the northeast are the Montes Harbinger.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German -Belgian geologists and Selenographen Prince William.
