Prix Walo
The Prix Walo is the most important award in the Swiss show business. He is regarded as the "Swiss Oscar ".
The Prix Walo is awarded annually at a gala event. In addition to various " divisions Prix Walos " there is also an honorary Prix Walo, a Prix Walo crowd favorite and the Little Prix Walo, which is awarded to young talents. Overall, there are no fixed categories; the divisions vary from year to year.
The Prix Walo was launched in 1974 by Walo Linder. Until 1980 the award for Artist of the Year was designated as the Golden Tell. Since then, he is named in honor of its founders after this. The award is presented by the association show scene Switzerland.
