Probota

Probota is a municipality in the district of Iasi in northeastern Romania. She had about 3,700 inhabitants in 2007.

Geographical location

The village lies on the road DN 24C, which leads south to 25 km to Iasi. 10 km to the southeast lies the place Sculeni and the lakes Lacul Hälceni and Lacul Bulbucani located about 10 kilometers to the west. Reach the border of Moldova and thus also to the Prut River to the east there are 5 km.
