Profronde van Fryslan

The Profronde van Fryslân ( Friesland German Tour ) is a Dutch road race.

It is held annually in the Dutch province of Friesland since 2004; initially until 2006 under the name of Noord -Nederland Tour, 2007 Profonde van Fryslân and since 2008 as Batavus Prorace. The race is one of the UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 1.1.

The victory in the inaugural tournament was awarded to all drivers of a 22 - man lead group due to a misdirection on the last 15 kilometers. Including the Dutchman Bobbie Traksel, who had crossed the finish line first.
