Programmable system device

Programmable system device (PSD, dt about programmable system component ) was the name of a set of integrated circuits for use in microprocessor circuits, the company STMicroelectronics. The block number has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

PSDs are typically combined with a microprocessor or controller to extend the capabilities for smaller applications such as embedded systems. The following functions are combined on a single chip: static RAM (SRAM ), flash memory and an FPGA, with the example address decoder and Ein-/Ausgabefunktionen can be realized. The devices can be programmed in-system via the JTAG interface / configured.
