Progress Glazov

Progress Glasow (Russian Прогресс Глазов ) is a Russian ice hockey club from Glasow. The team plays since the 2010/11 season in the league Perwaja.

History

The team was founded in 1954 under the name tractor Glasow. After the club then temporarily Torpedo Glasow said, it took its current name in 1962 Progress Glasow. In Soviet times, the team participated in several part in the second division. In the 1990s, she was an integral part of Russia's second highest league. Last Progress Glasow played in the 2009/10 season in the league Wysschaja. This was subsequently replaced by the Wysschaja Hockey League and Progress was relegated to the third-rate Perwaja league.
