Project for Democratic Union

The Project for Democratic Union (PDU ) is a European open source think tank that advocates a complete political integration of the euro zone. She advocates for the political unification of the Member States of the euro zone on Anglo-American constitutional basis. The organization has its origins in the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich and is currently working in Munich and London.

History and political goals

PDU was founded in January 2013 in Munich. Mainly students and young academics involved in this organization, which in addition to Munich also has a base in London. Your first chairman and co-founder Brendan Simms, Professor of History of International Relations at the University of Cambridge in England. The Project for Democratic Union aims to establish a complete political union of the euro zone on Anglo-American constitutional basis. All staff are volunteers with different backgrounds and professional background. The main target group of the organization are students, young graduates and young professionals.

Statement of Principles

The PDU has finalized its objectives in the Statement of Principles. They deal with all the basic questions that need to be solved in a federalization of the euro zone.
