Proseč pod Křemešníkem

Proseč pod Křemešníkem ( German Prosetsch under Kremeschnik ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers south-east of Pelhřimov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Proseč pod Křemešníkem is located north- west of the 765 m high on the hill Křemešník Nivka (622 m). East runs at the foot of the valley of the Křemešník Kladinský creek.

Neighboring towns are Plevnice in the north, Horni Strměchy, Střítež pod Křemešníkem, Volšička and Kamenicko in the northeast, Korce and Sázava the southeast, and Zálesí Lesov in the south, Nemojov the southwest, Putimov in the west and Řemenov in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Proseč place in the year 1379th

1976 lost its independence and the place was connected to Putimov and with this 1980 Pelhřimov. South of the village is located on the corridor " Na horach " a former mining area.
