Protestantism in Cuba

The followers of Protestantism in Cuba constitute a small minority of about 100,000 people.

They comprise a few percent of the population of the country. Before Fidel Castro came to power in 1959, Protestantism was a tiny minority. Meanwhile, Protestant services are visited by hundreds of thousands. The Episcopal Church of Cuba comprises only a minority of Protestants in the country. Free Churches, however, represent the majority of Protestants in Cuba.

In Cuba takes place persecution of Christians, although Christianity is the majority religion of the traditional population. In Cuba, at least part of Protestant churches is monitored.
