Protestantism in the United Arab Emirates

Protestantism in the United Arab Emirates is a minority religion.

Among the Protestant denominations in the country include the Christian Brethren and the Coptic Evangelical Church. Evangelical churches are the Arab Evangelical Church of Dubai, the United Christian Church of Dubai and the Evangelical Alliance Church.

The Governments of the Emirates do not allow the churches to show crosses on the outside of their premises or to erect bell towers. Christian men can not Muslim women marry. There is no conversion allowed by Islam. Non- Islamic religious leaders report that customs authorities the importation of religious items like Bibles into the country mostly where the latter are not printed in Arabic.

On December 25, 2007, the adviser for religious affairs of President al - Hashemi participated in Christmas celebrations of the Anglican Church.
