Protests in Sudan (2011–present)

The protests in Sudan from 2011 committed early January 2011 and are part of the Arab Spring. They are directed against the authoritarian regime of al -Bashir. The demonstrators were often students. A total of 14 people died in 2000 in prison. When widened the demonstrations, announced al -Bashir that he will not compete in the next presidential elections in 2015.

Solidarity protests

June 30, 2012 organized expatriate Sudanese solidarity demonstrations in cities such as London, Dublin, Washington DC, Toronto, Paris, Cairo, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Edinburgh, Sacramento, Canberra.
