Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani

The province of Barletta -Andria -Trani ( Italien. Provincia di Barletta- Andria- Trani) is a province of the Apulia region with 392 446 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). Barletta- Andria- Trani is one of the youngest provinces of Italy, has only existed since 2004 and is composed of ten municipalities reshaped who once belonged to the provinces of Bari and Foggia.

It is together with Monza and Fermo one of the three youngest provinces of Italy. The provincial capitals are united: Barletta, Andria and Trani. The first elections to the provincial assembly were held on 6 and 7 June 2009.
