Przewozy Regionalne

Przewozy Regionalne ( German translation: Regional transport ), formerly PKP Przewozy Regionalne, is a railway company in Poland, which is responsible for local and inter-regional passenger transport. The company was a spin-off of a subsidiary of the Polish State Railways ( PKP)

Fractional ownership

Until 22 December 2008, the company was a wholly owned subsidiary of PKP Group. After all ownership shares were transferred to the 16 regions. The PKP no longer holds any shares in the company. The Przewozy Regionalne are now with their inter-regional trains in competition with the TLK trains ( not expensive express trains ) of PKP Intercity. As of December 8th of 2009 was also the addition of PKP from the former company name PKP Przewozy Regionalne. The provinces hold the following shares in the Company:
