PSPad

PSPad is a freeware text and code editor for Windows.

January Fiala released the software for the first time in 2001 and continues to develop it further.

The program is designed as a universal GUI for some (programming ) languages, including PHP, Perl, HTML, and Java. Other features include autocompletion, tabs, FTP client, file compare, spell checking, syntax highlighting and search capabilities based on regular expressions. Furthermore, you can extend the functionality through extensions and compiler.

The software can be used on a Windows system without installation. This makes the use on portable media devices as portable software possible. When installing 4.5.6 Adware is installed since version if the user does not withhold consent.
