Psychic Academy

Psychic Academy (Japaneseサイキック アカデミー 煌羅 万象, Saikikku Akademi bansho ORA ) is a manga by Katsu Aki, on the basis of a web anime was produced. The story describes a romance novel in a fantasy world.

Action

The 16 -year-old Ai Shiomi is sent to one of the new schools for paranormal abilities Psychic Academy. Actually, he does not want there, but soon he finds that he has just such extraordinary power, the aura, the other students of the Academy. It would be particularly Ais brother, who is already considered a legend among the Aura- masters and always wants to protect his little brother. At the Academy Ai meets his girlfriend back from childhood, Orina, in which he is in love. There is also a strange girl who seemingly every social contact avoids that seems however to have a strange relationship with him.

Characters

Ai Shiomi, the main character wants to actually lead a normal life away from all auras and special forces. However, catches up with him his talent and he can not escape his fate. He is pleased to see Orina again and also to Myu he takes more and more contact.

Orina, the childhood friend, Ai meets at the Academy again. She is in love with him and wants to establish a relationship with him again. To Myu she cherishes a very good friendship that would never endanger.

Zerodyme, the brother of Ai, never misses an opportunity to tease and embarrass his brother - but he keeps saying that he will always be his little Ai aside. Zero is considered the most powerful aura master.

Myu, the strange classmate seems to have a very high level aura. It avoids any contact as far as it goes. Just to Orina and Ai it builds trust. Myu and Ai seem to have a special relationship to each other.

In Japan Psychic Academy appeared from 1999 to 2003 in Magazine Z in Kodansha. The German version was published in the magazine MangaPower before Egmont Manga and Anime series published in 11 separate volumes.

Anime

A web anime called φchic academy ORA bansho with 24 episodes aired from March to September, 2002 in Japan. Each episode is about 10 minutes long and was published online at Lycos Japan. The leader Items Say Over this was sung by Rie Tanaka and Tsugumi Higasayama which simultaneously also Orina and Myu borrow the votes. The end credits song Love Angel was sung together by A -my and MION.
