Psychosocial short stature

The psychosocial dwarfism (also psychosocial dwarfism ) is a growth disorder caused by deprivation. It occurs especially in neglected children, abused street children and so-called wolf children.

Therapy

The treatment consists in the repeal of pathogenic environmental conditions on the one hand and promoting development on the other. The child's placement in foster care may be needed.
