Ptolemy Apion

Ptolemy Apion ( ancient Greek Πτολεμαῖος Ἀπίων; * after 154, † 96 BC) was a son of Ptolemy VIII and a concubine, perhaps the Eirene. Determined in the father as king of Cyrene Testament, Apion could probably take up his inheritance only to the years 105/ 01 when he appears as an independent contractor to curb the pirates plague in the Mediterranean in the contract with Rome Treaties. Apion died in 96 BC without leaving an heir.

Apion bequeathed bequeathed his kingdom to the Roman Republic.
