The Pullach railway station was a railway station on the Isartalbahn from Munich to Unterbichl. Since 1981 he has been a stopping point on the S -Bahn line 7 of the Munich S-Bahn. The station is located in the municipality of Pullach, in Pullach also exist the stations Großhesselohe Isartalbahnhof and Höllriegelskreuth. The station belongs to the train station category 6 of DB Station & Service and has two platform tracks. The station building is a listed building and was acquired in the meantime by the municipality Pullach. Location

The station is located at Bahnhofstrasse 10 in the town of Pullach between the federal highway 11 and the banks of the Isar. It is surrounded on both sides by ground-level crossings, where the barriers are due to be renewed until April 2013 and fully automated. Of the planned underpasses instead of the two crossings was already refrained years ago because too massive intervention in the townscape was feared.

History

On June 10, 1891, the Isartalbahn of Thal churches took out of service on first to Schaeftlarn, still further in July to Wolfratshausen. From the beginning, there was a railway station in Pullach, who also got the name Isartalbahnhof because of the railway line located in the Isar valley. The station building was built in 1890. The track system could be expanded with the doubling of the Isartalbahn section of Munich Isartalbahnhof after Höllriegelskreuth. The Pullach station now possessed three tracks, the tracks 2 and 3 were used by the passenger. The track 1, on which lay the reception building, mainly served the freight. This was also equipped with a loading track and a small goods shed. On January 15, 1900, the station was electrified with the Munich Isartalbahnhof - Höllriegelskreuth section of Isartalbahn. In 1944, the station served Pullach 44 commuter trains, most compounds were suburban trains from Munich Isartalbahnhof after Höllriegelskreuth. In 1973, the station facilities were rebuilt for the integration into the Munich S-Bahn system, while a track was torn down, so the train station to the breakpoint. The remaining two side platforms were raised to a height of 76 centimeters. After the reconstruction of the railway station at 30- minute intervals of locomotive-hauled trains on the S-Bahn S-Bahn München Hauptbahnhof 10 -Wolfratshausen was served. Since 31 May 1981, the station at 20- minute intervals from S-Bahn trainsets of the S-Bahn line 7 is operated, this was made possible by the construction of the Südstreckentunnels.

S-Bahn station

Today's S-Bahn station has two platform tracks and two side platforms of 140 meters in length with a height of 96 cm. Located at ground level transitions at both ends of the platforms. Station building

This single storey station building is located between two two-story pavilions. The station building and the pavilions provide a plastered building with exposed brick decor represents the pavilions have a hip roof, the middle part of a flat roof. At the middle part of a pavilion located between the platform hall closes, which is aligned in the direction of the house platform. It is supported by three pillars of cast iron. The station building is now registered as a historic landmark in the Bavarian monument list.
