Puzeaux
Puzeaux ( Picard: Puzeu ) is a northern French village with 252 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality belongs to the canton Chaulnes and is part of the Communauté de communes de Haute Picardie.
Geography
The community is located about two kilometers southwest of Chaulnes in the Santerre. The municipal area extends west to the Autoroute A1 and in the east to the department of road D1017 ( former Route nationale 17). Through the village leads the department of road D337 Chaulnes Nesle after crossing the D1017 in Croisement de Bel -Air. Through the municipal area extend the railway line from Amiens to Laon and the disused railway line from Saint- Just-en -Chaussée to Douai.
History
The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
