Q. D. Leavis

Queenie Dorothy Leavis (born Roth, born December 7, 1906 in Edmonton, Middlesex, † March 17, 1981 in Cambridge ) was an English literary scholar. Together with her husband, FR Leavis, she coined in the mid- 20th century, for decades the British literary theory and didactics.
