Qaher 313

The Qaher 313 (Persian قاهر, German: powerful, violent, even Kaher 313 transcribed ) or F -313 is supposed to be an Iranian fighter aircraft, of which a non- flyable model was presented on 1 February 2013.

The F -313 is a Deltaflügler with canards, the wing tips are strongly bent downwards. The single-beam, single-seat machine has several magic hat optimized features: So the two air intakes mounted on top of the fuselage and the vertical tail slightly bent to avoid 90 ° angles. Whether the machine is also has an internal weapons bay can not be seen in the pictures released so far, but due to the small overall size of the pattern is unlikely. The exterior of the machine is to go back to the F- 5E Tiger II, on which the Qaher based 313 according to Iranian media.

Add to Iranian state media, the performance of the machine is specified with the an American F-18 Hornet. Since the exact same information was supplied with the machine Azarakhsh, Saeqeh and Shafaq, this information is doubted by Western experts. The interpretation as einstrahliges pattern also contradicts this view. These data also appear due to the small size of the machine doubtful, as this is no comparable avionics can be installed or similar flight ranges can be achieved ( due to the low internal fuel capacity permitting).

The published images suggest that it is in the plane shown in the Iranian state media for a so-called mock-up, that is a non- flyable model. Even with Western manufacturers mock- ups are used to present projected or existing aircraft potential clients and the media. However, giving more publications to an opportunity to evaluate the actual existence of the entire project as questionable. In mid-February 2013 were published by the 313 state-run news site of the Iranian province of Khuzistan another photo of a flying Qaher, which proved to be fake.
