Qakare Ibi

Qa -ka- Re Ibi was an ancient Egyptian King (Pharaoh) of the 8th Dynasty ( First Intermediate Period ).

Origin

The name of the king Qa -ka- Re Ibi is in the King List at Abydos (No. 53) in the temple of Seti I called, throne name and proper name.

According to Hayes, it is identical with the King Ibi (4.10 ) of the Royal Canon of Turin.

Near the Aufweges to the Pyramid Pepi II, the remains of a pyramid were found that could be assigned to Qakare Ibi ( Ibi - pyramid). The Turin Royal Canon after he has reigned two years, and even in Tomas ( Nubia ) was found a graffito.
