Qazvinis' House

The House of Qazviner (Persian خانه قزوینی ها, IPA: xɑnɛ jɛ qæzvinihɑ ) is a historic house in the Iranian city of Isfahan. It belongs to the era of Naser ad -Din Shah ( 1830-1890 ). Despite the many historic houses in Isfahan few of them are open to the public for tourists. The accessible house has an interesting architecture for a masterful plan and has several courtyards. The northern side of each court has officially been raised. The outer part of the building is characterized by:

  • A decorated with exquisite muqarnas podium
  • Whose doors have painted glasses.
  • On the eastern side there is a hall, small room, a large front porch and covered vestibules and a service sector.

The internal parts are on the eastern side of the main courtyard. Since there are halls and offices. Stables and living quarters of the servants are in the southern parts of the house.

The House of Qazviner is open 8:30 to 14:15 except Friday and on holidays to visit every day. Currently, the organization of the Office of Cultural Heritage, Handicraft and Tourism Isfahan is located in it.
