The Qingdao University ( in simplified Chinese characters :青岛 大学, Pinyin: Qīngdǎo Daxue ), colloquially Qingda (青 大), is a university in Qingdao, Shandong province of the People's Republic of China. It is spread over five locations within the city limits.

History

The Qingdao University was opened in 1987 and included the then 15 faculties. Your present form dates from 1993 through the merger with three other institutions: the Institute of Textile Sciences Shandong Medical College of Qingdao and the Teachers College Qingdao.

Schools and study

The Qingdao University continues to maintain a strong profile in the training of health professionals and the material sciences. Apart from that, it has degree programs in a variety of scientific disciplines. The German faculty is considered the best in Shandong.
