Quarterflash

Quarterflash was a well known in the eighties pop and rock (music ) band.

The band, founded in 1980 in Portland / Oregon ( USA), consisted of the members Rindy Ross (vocals and saxophone), her husband Marv Ross ( guitar), Jack Charles (vocals and guitar), Rick DiGiallonardo (keyboards), Rich Gooch ( bass) and Brian David Willis (drums).

The band produced in 1981, released by Geffen Records debut album " Quarterflash ". This was a great success, and included also the biggest hits of the band such as " Harden My Heart" ( # 3 on the U.S. Billboard charts ) and " Find Another Fool " (No. 16).

The second album of the band, which produced 1983 " Take Another Picture" brought even a hit with the title "Take Me to Heart " (No. 14) out. However, this album was a total no longer as successful as the debut album.

In 1985, the band produced their preliminary final album "Back Into Blue" and then broke up ( after the separation of Geffen Records) on.

Five years later, in 1990, the band came together again and produced the album, released by Epic Records ' Girl in the Wind ". Then the band broke up for good.

Rindy and Marv Ross play today in a popular band in the region called "The Oregon Trail Band".
