Quartissimo

Quartissimo are a classical group, founded in 2008 in Slovenia.

The members are Žiga Cerar, Matjaž Bogataj, Luke Dukarić and Samo Dervisic. All four are young, but still very well-known and successful musician.

In 2009 she participated - together with the Croatian singer Martina Majerle - with success on the Slovenian preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 part. With their title Love Symphony they had to compete in the semifinal first. Since they convinced both jury and televoting, they could also compete in the final.

There they were placed among other things Omar Naber, of the Euro Vision Song Contest it was in 2005. In a poll on the side esctoday.com reached Quartissimo with 17.8 % of votes in third place.

In the vote Quartissimo were the jury the clear favorite, but the televoting they finished only fourth. In second place came the thoughtful with eight points Omar Naber. But besides that, there were serious differences between tele and jury vote.

When Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 Quartissimo occurred in the second semi-final. The band did not manage to occupy one of the top ten spots and thus did not qualify for the finals.
