HM Queen Fabiola

Fabiola Mora y Aragón ( born June 11, 1928 in Madrid, Spain) was 1960-1993 Queen of the Belgians. She wears a widow of Belgian King Baudouin in 1993 the title of Queen of Belgium and is the aunt of the current King of the Belgians, Philippe. According to her, the asteroid ( 1576 ) Fabiola is named.

Life

Fabiola was born as the third daughter of Don Gonzalo Mora Fernández Riera del Olmo, Count of Mora, and his wife Doña Blanca de Aragón y Carrillo in Madrid. With full name is Doña Fabiola Fernanda María de las Victorias Antonia Adelaida de Mora y Aragon, her godmother was Queen Victoria Eugenie of Spain.

After completing their education Fabiola was trained as a nurse and worked in a hospital in Madrid. Her native language is Spanish, the French, Dutch, German and Italian fluently she also masters.
