Queer heterosexuality

Straight Queer Masculinities denote an introduced by the American sociologist Robert Heasley concept to denote differing forms of masculinity in heterosexual men who do not fall into the usual hegemonic paradigms of masculinity. Heasleys approach is situated in the context of Critical Heterosexuality Studies. He describes his childhood as that of a straight sissy -boy.

He distinguishes six types of straight- queer men and boys:
