Quincy Owuso - Abeyie ( born April 15, 1986 in Amsterdam, Netherlands ) is a Ghanaian- Dutch soccer player on the position of a striker. He currently plays on loan at Panathinaikos Athens Greece.

Career

His parents are from Ghana, he was born in Amsterdam, however, which is why he has dual citizenship. First, he played in the talent of Ajax Amsterdam, from where he managed to become Arsenal and thus in the Premier League. There, however, he could not really prevail. In 2006 he moved to Russian club Spartak Moscow premiership. After only one year, he was loaned out to Celta Vigo División in the second-rate Spanish Segunda, where he was to continue to develop at a high level. From the 2008/ 09 season was followed by the English Erstligaabsteiger Birmingham City the second rental station in a row. He then completed a trial at Tottenham Hotspur before was further awarded on 31 January 2009 to Cardiff City. On 27 January 2010 he was loaned for the rest of the season at Portsmouth.

In summer 2010, Owusu- Abeyie signed a three -year contract with Qatari club Al -Sadd, but was initially awarded to FC Málaga for the season 2010/11.

National

Since he has a Dutch passport played Quincy Owusu to 2006 in the U -21 in the Netherlands, however, asked the following year FIFA to allow him inserts for the A national team of the homeland of his parents, which he also immediately prior to the African Cup of Nations was permitted in 2008, when he was appointed to the banns of Ghana.
