Qysyl - Aghasch is a place in Kazakhstan in Almaty area, in the district Aqsu northeast of Taldyqorghan, and has 2146 inhabitants ( 2009).

The breaking of the Qysyl - Agasch Dam

On Thursday, March 11, 2010, the Qysyl - Agasch dam broke the dam of the same name by prolonged heavy rains flooded the city and killed many inhabitants. The day after, still broke another dam at the place Schylbulak with 820 inhabitants, but all could be saved.
