R-Kioski

R- Kioski is a Finnish kiosk and convenience store chain, the nation's more than 703 stores has.

Products

In addition to magazines, candy and tobacco and convenience products as well as pre-paid SIM cards and tickets for public transport are sold. As in Finland, the permitted opening times are dependent on the surface area of the business (the smaller the surface area may be open, the longer ), R- Kioski are the traditional place to shop both very early and very late.

History

The convenience associated with the Reitan Group company is involved in kiosk chains in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Romania, and in 2009 achieved a turnover of 410.9 million euros. The first kiosks were opened in 1910, the name R- Kioski, however, was not introduced until 1958. In March 2012, the Norwegian Reitangruppe ( Reitan Convenience ) bought the kiosk chain of the Finnish Sanoma Group and became the second largest kiosk companies in Europe.
