R. K. Narayan
RK Narayan ( Rasipuram Krishnaswami Ayyar Narayanaswami, Tamil: .. ஆர் கே நாராயண்; born October 10, 1906 in Madras, † 13 May 2001, Delhi ) was one of the most famous Indian novelists who wrote exclusively in English.
Life
He famously the author, who belonged to the highest Indian Brahmin caste, inter alia, by its number of novels that have played in the fictional small town " Malgudi " in southern India. His first work, "Swami and Friends" in 1935 helped him to his brilliant international breakthrough. His humorous and energetic writing style is often compared to that of William Faulkner.
