R.A.A. Louviéroise

R.A.A. La Louviere, by locals mostly R.A.A. Louviéroise or shortened RAAL or simply named after the City of origin La Louviere, is a Belgian football club from the province of Hainaut, who plays currently (2008) in the Derde Class or Division 3A ( third division ).

By 2006 the club was still to be found in the class Jupiler League, but complications set in the same year in a betting scandal out whose turbulence had the descent of the " wolves " into the third division result.

The predecessor of this Association, Union Sportive Lovièroise, was founded in 1906. The club plays in the Tívoli Stadium in La Louviere, which offers 13,500 spectators.

Current coach is Patrick Thairet, under whose leadership the athletic plummeting in recent years has stabilized a bit.
