Ra (island)

Ra, also known as Aya, is a small island in the Banks Islands in the north of the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu.

The approximately 0.5 km ² island is located just 100 meters off the southwest tip of the much larger island of Mota Lava, with which it shares a common reef. At low tide, a passage between the two islands on foot is possible.

According to the census in 2009 Ra has 189 inhabitants.
