Raaavanan is a Tamil film directed by Mani Ratnam in the year 2010.

Action

The film is a loose adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana: The Gangster Veera kidnaps Ragini, the wife of the police chief in order to take revenge on him because of the abuse of his sister. Ragini is but determined not to bow to the will Veeras. On the run from the police created an intimate bond between the two.

The film was produced in 2010 by Madras Talkies. Directed by Mani Ratnam, who also wrote the screenplay.
