Rabbit Hole is an American film drama directed by John Cameron Mitchell from the year 2010.
The film is based on the play of the same from the year 2005. Writer David Lindsay - Abaire adapted the piece for the film and wrote the screenplay.
Action
Becca and Howie Corbett are a happily married couple until her son Danny killed by a car. The housewife Becca tries a new meaning for their lives to find, this is made difficult by their family members and friends that it's actually my only good with her. Consolation and distraction she finds in the young comic book writer Jason who the man is random, which drove the car that killed her son. Her husband Howie infected, however, stuck in the past and looking at outsiders the refuge that Becca is unable to give him. The two drive just go and make some dangerous decisions.

Premiere
Was presented Rabbit Hole on 13 September 2010 at the Toronto International Film Festival. On 17 December 2010, the film came in the first American cinema. Nationwide theatrical release date of 14 January 2011.
Awards
Nicole Kidman was nominated for the Academy Awards, 2011 for an Oscar in the category Best Actress. Other nominations were for Kidman at the Golden Globe Awards 2011, the Online Film Critics Society Awards, the Satellite Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Sierra Awards, the Central Ohio Film Critics Association Awards, the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association Awards and the Independent Spirit Awards.
The latter were next to Kidman and John Cameron Mitchell for best director, Aaron Eckhart nominated for best male lead and David Lindsay - Abaire for best screenplay.
Lindsay - Abaire was further nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Chicago Film Critics Association Awards, plus nominations came for Dianne Wiest for Best Supporting Actress at the Satellite Awards and Aaron Eckhart as Best Actor at the San Diego Film Critics Society Awards.
