Rachelle Viinberg

Rachelle Viinberg (* as Rachelle De Jong April 30, 1979 in Nanaimo ) is a Canadian rower.

The 1.83 meter tall Viinberg rows for the Victoria Vikes, the Sports Club of the University of Victoria, where she earned a degree in biology. Previously, she served on the Western Rowing Club in London and the Regina Rowing Club. Viinberg won her first World Cup medal in 2012 and its first Olympic medal in 2002. From 2005 to 2008 she was a Skull - rower active before and after the strap - rower. In the 2008 Olympics she won the Canadian sculls eighth. 2012 erruderte Viinberg with the roller in Munich their only World Cup victory.

By 2010, it launched under the name Rachelle De Jong.
