Rada Trzech

The Tripartite Council (Polish: Rada Trzech ) was an institution of the Polish government in exile in the years 1954-1972. It was constituted in London, after the exiled Polish President August Zaleski had refused to withdraw as promised. The Tripartite Council declared itself the collective head of state and appointed its own government, which, as the Council itself, the recognition of the Council of National Unity, the Polish Parliament in exile, became. The Tripartite belonged at different times, among other things to: Władysław Anders, Tomasz Arciszewski, Edward Raczyński and Tadeusz Bor-Komorowski. The Council dissolved itself in 1972 to, as he gave the certain of this followers Stanisław Ostrowski as the legitimate president recognized after the death of Zaleski.
