Radagaisus († August 23 406 ) was a Gothic commander, probably a Greutunge. He led 405/ 06 in a Gothic core army - realistic estimates of about 20,000 warriors from; that would be a total of approximately 100,000 people meet - from the clutches of the Huns to northern Italy. Whether the train was composed polyethnisch, that is, existed alongside Gothic groups from several different strains, can not be answered clearly; only Zosimus speaks of.

On his way to northern Italy Radagaisus left a trail of destruction. He laid siege to Florence, but was defeated by a relief army, which included the Huns Uldins troops, under the leadership of the Western Roman army at the Battle of Champion Stilicho Faesulae devastating. After the defeat Radagaisus was captured and was executed shortly afterwards. Stilicho was divided parts of the opposing army into his army, the rest were enslaved. The prices of slaves shall be collapsed downright under this oversupply.
