Rade Bogdanović

Rade Bogdanovic ( born May 21, 1970 in Sarajevo ) is a former professional football player. Bogdanovic was a striker and is known from his playing time at Werder Bremen.

Career

Bogdanovic started his football career in 1987 at age 17 at FK Željezničar Sarajevo, before joining the 1992/93 season in the South Korean K -League to the Pohang Steelers. After four years he left the club JEF United Ichihara tions to Japan, where he played only one season. For season 97/98 he joined Atlético Madrid, where he was awarded but the main part of the season to NAC Breda. Thus he joined the season 98/99 Atlético Madrid for 1,350,000 DM to Bremen. In his five years in the Bundesliga, he scored 15 goals in 75 games. His penultimate stop was Arminia Bielefeld, he remained there but scoreless. Most recently, he played for Al Wahda (Abu Dhabi ). In summer 2005, Bogdanovic came at the age of 35 years back from professional football.

Achievements

Bogdanović's biggest success was winning the DFB Cup in 1999 with Werder Bremen.
