Radeče

Radece ( German: Ratschach ) is a city and a municipality in the historical region of Lower Carniola ( Carniola ), Slovenia.

In the overall community consisting of 23 villages 4593 inhabitants. In the capital alone Radece it has 2296 inhabitants. The city is located in central Radece Posavje Hills at the mouth of Sopota into the Sava.

1297 Radece was first mentioned in writing. Finds of tools made ​​of bone show that the place was inhabited much earlier. Since 1338 the estate has the right to hold markets and 1925 Radece became a town, and finally in 1995 to the municipality.
