Radek Petr

Radek Petr (born 24 February 1987 in Krnov ) is a Czech football player at the position of the goalkeeper.

Club career

Petr began playing football at the age of six years at FK Krnov. At age 16, joined the keeper to SFC Opava, two years later to Banik Ostrava. In early 2007 he was loaned to the then third division side FK Mutěnice.

After the good performance at the Junior World Championships 2007 in Canada Petr moved to FC Parma in the Italian Serie A. There, the Czech goalkeeper was in season 2007/ 08 Number Three behind Luca Bucci and Nicola Pavarini. In order to get match practice he came in the junior league Primavera used.

After the descent of FC Parma in Serie B, Petr was loaned to Serie C -division club Pro Patria Calcio. There, the goalkeeper came on 14 September 2008 at Monza Calcio match against his first professional use.

In January 2009, Petr was loaned for six months to the Belgian second division KAS Eupen. In Eupen, the Czech won a regular place immediately, so that the club extended the contract of loan for another year with the option of a firm commitment.

National

Petr came in 2004 two appearances for the Czech U- 17 team. Then the goalkeeper played one season each for the U -18 and U- 19th Since 2006 Petr played for the U -20 team, with which he was runner-up in Canada at the Junior World Cup in 2007.
