Radio City Tower

St. John's Beacon is the name of the TV Tower in Liverpool. It is 133 meters high and was built in 1965. Near the top of the tower there was a revolving restaurant and an observation deck above.

The restaurant ceased to rotate, as the main bearings blocked. The restaurant and observation deck were closed after a fire of lying to his feet shopping center in 1977, as the lift took damage.

Since 2001, the premises of a viewing platform and restaurant areas have been combined to make room for the radio station Radio City. The area can be rented as a meeting room.

The top of the tower is now equipped with an antenna and advertising.
