Radio SRF Virus

Radio SRF virus is a program of the Swiss Radio and Television ( SRF), a branch of SRG SSR. Before 16 December 2012, the station was called DRS Virus. It is designed as a " culture channel for young audiences ." The program can not be received over FM, but only via cable, DAB in German Switzerland, Europe via satellite and worldwide as a live stream Internet radio.

Program

Since the relaunch of the station (1 September 2009) to SRF virus differs significantly from the program of Radio SRF 3 and focuses on experimental music. Current alternative rock and pop titles are highly dominant, followed by emerging style areas around rap, electro and rock, also all current titles. Continue as in the 2000s back does not attack the music selection in the rule.

SRF virus also relies heavily on social media and interaction with the audience. The presentation is part of the community, always bimedial in dialogue with this, and integrates this dialogue with artists and audiences into the current program. A prime example is that the transmitter has invited a band live in the studio and the listeners can directly ask questions through the chat box on the station's website, which are then answered and broadcast.

The following routes are moderated live weekday: morning (8-12 clock ), afternoon (13-17 clock ) and Eve (17-20 clock ). From 20 to 22 clock there are moderated music specials. Swiss artists like Saalschutz, Seven and Mental X present their own shows on SRF virus.

SRF virus offers the most complete on the eve programs as podcasts for download.
