Towards the end of World War II Hermannshöhe was occupied on March 9, 1945 by the Red Army. Previously undertaken by the villagers escape attempts had failed. The inhabitants had all returned to their village. After the war, Hermann height is set together with all Pomerania under Polish administration. Polish citizens took between August 1945 and early 1946 the property, leaving the previous villagers still work for free until they ultimately all were expelled.

78 expelled from Hermannshöhe villagers were later identified in the Federal Republic of Germany and 33 in the GDR.
