Radu Rebeja

Radu Rebeja (Russian Раду Николаевич Ребежа; born June 8, 1973 in Chişinău, Soviet Union ) is a retired Moldovan football player and most capped player in his country. He began his career at Zimbru Chişinău, where he played for eight years. After intermediate stations at FK Elista and Saturn Ramenskoje he played four years at FK Moscow, including as captain, before he ended his career at FK Khimki. He is now Vice President of the Moldovan Football Federation.

Rebeja belonged to the team that the first international match for Moldova denied on July 2, 1991, which was lost in Chisinau with 2:4 against Georgia. His last international game he played on 15 October 2008 as part of the World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg. With 74 international matches he's most capped player of Moldova and took with Moldova 1994-2008 on all European and World Championship qualifiers in part, but was never able to qualify for a World Cup or European Championship with Moldova and reached so for the duration of his international career of over 17 years relatively little games.
