Radwa Ashour

Radua Ashur (also Radwa Ashour, born May 26, 1946 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian writer and professor of English literature at Ain Shams University in Cairo. She studied English Literature (Licence 1967) and specialized in comparative literature at Cairo University (MA 1972). In 1975, she holds a Ph.D. in African-American literature at the University of Massachusetts / USA. Radwa Ashour writes novels, short stories and literary reviews.
