Raffael Tonello

Raffael Tonello (born 14 June 1975) is a former Italian footballer.

Playing career

Tonello, who grew up in Mülheim an der Ruhr and began eight years at TuS Union 09 Mülheim with the association football, was discovered by Talentsichtern of professional clubs Fortuna Dusseldorf and moved at age 16 to Fortuna. After playing in the A- youth and with the amateurs of the club, he was in 1994/95 recorded his first professional coach Aleksandar Ristic inserts under the 2nd Bundesliga. In his second 31 on the match against SV Meppen the striker also achieved his first goal as a professional. At the end of the season Dusseldorf rose to the first division. Gameday On the 11th the following season, he played his first top-flight and was the first Italian in the Bundesliga.

This was followed by meniscus surgery ( 1996) and then a 16-month rehab. After that it was clear that he was no longer suitable for the high-performance sports. He transferred to season 1997/98 in the Regionalliga West / Southwest to Sportfreunde Siegen. Here he played until 2000. From the beginning of 2001 kicked for KFC Uerdingen 05 in the Regionalliga Nord. After only six missions there he went to the end of season to Kickers Offenbach in the Regionalliga Süd. There he played one season before switching to league internally to the second team of Eintracht Frankfurt. This was his last stop - on 27 September 2002, he ended his career as a sports invalid.

After the career

After the End of career Tonello completed an internship at Eintracht Frankfurt and at the same time a correspondence course for specialist sports host.

Raffael Tonello is since 2006 managing director of Real Sport Entertainment. Among other things, he runs a soccer hall in Frankfurt- Preungesheim and plays for the team Fortuna Düsseldorf tradition.
