Ragösen is a district of the city Coswig (Anhalt) in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Ragösen on the southwestern edge of the Flaming lies in the valley of the upper Nuthe. This little river rises about five kilometers northeast of the town, flows through Zerbst and flows into the Elbe at Barby. The area is densely wooded, the terrain is characterized by rolling hills. History

On 1 July 2007, the former municipality Ragösen was incorporated in the district of Wittenberg as a result of the district reform of the former district of Anhalt -Zerbst.

On 1 July 2009 Ragösen was incorporated into Coswig (Anhalt). The last mayor was Hans -Peter Klausnitzer.

The national road 121 (formerly Federal Highway 187a ) of Zerbst to Coswig (Anhalt) performs Ragösen.
